Bryson: Reference Sheet

Hey guys look~! I drew something! 8D
This is a new character of mine. He's a Chirogo, a fantastic bat-like species that's been catching a lot of attention (made by the one and only *AbsoluteDream). I know the art is a little rough, but I've been spending most of my time on Zolo's art trade.

I just wanted to get this guy out here before I forgot his characteristics. Heh.

(I know that the left (his right) leg looks weird, but I didn't notice before it was too late. Dx These guys are hard to draw!)

Here's his bio:

Name: Bryson

Species: Chirogo

Clan: Blue

Origin: As a young pup, Bryson was highly attached to his parents. He was surprisingly small and quite timid, especially for a member of the blue clan. However, when he was abandoned by them, like most Chirogo pups are, he found himself unable to cope. He refused the minimal care from the clan’s ‘nanny’ and constantly tried to escape her and his peers in search of his parents. He had many confrontations with them and was turned away heartbroken multiple times. His parents were strict believers in the clan’s nanny and thought that his obsessive dependence on them made him weaker. They told him that someday he would be able to work alongside them, in an attempt to give the pup something to look forward to.

At about the age of six, Bryson finally realized that he would never be able to stay with his parents and gave in to the system. This coming to reality hardened him, highly contributing to his personality today.

((Although very small as a child, Bryson quickly grew into a strong and highly alert individual.))

Personality: Bryson often comes across as intimidating, but is highly critical of himself due to his childhood. Although his unsurity bogs him down sometimes, it is an attribute that made him as strong and stubborn as he is today. Even though he is very strict on himself, however, he’s not very strict about the rules. He’s rebellious and is willing to push limits when he has too.

-Bryson stayed with his parents until he was three, longer than many pups.
-Bryson is a klutz around girls
-After being ‘raised’ by the nanny, Bryson never attempted to re-confront his parents, although he sees them every once in a while. (Seeing them sometimes sets him on edge, but he deliberately tries to be indifferent of their presence.)
-Bryson is very athletic and loves playing games in which he can prove his strength.
-Although many Chirogos talk to Bryson, he tries not to get too close to anyone.
-Bryson loves to hunt. He’s often called on by the clan to help with large prey.
